The Economy Cage
We offer This cage for those who are not concerned with the Storm Protection but still want
a good security cage. As you can see below, the main difference between the two models is
the absence of the expanded metal. We have, however, added more angle around the
sides vertically and on the lid. The top of the cage is snug to the top of the A/C so that even
if the screws were removed from the air conditioner the lid can't be removed because there
is not enough room.
We use the same material that is used for the frame of the our industrial cage so that it is
just as strong.
The other difference is the security bolts on the bottom. We have a different type used for
this since it is visible from the outside. These bolts are tamper proof because they use a
special head to tighten them down.
These cages also have the same locking mechanism, available access door option,
available post-hole concrete application, welding and care that goes into everyone of our
industrial cages.
This model helps reduce the cost by 33% as opposed to our industrial line.
